The biggest change is with our management staff:
Joseph Castillo as of June 18th has transitioned into a new supporting role in the company as a part-time consultant for NAC as he is now serving the All Nations International Fellowship (ANIF) full-time. Dave Anderson has temporarily taken over his responsibilities until mid-August at which time he and his family will be moving to Costa Rica.The new functioning CEO for the company is now Jade Wang (Joseph’s wife).
NOW HIRING For Critical Administration Position At NATIONS ABROAD!
Since Dave Anderson is leaving, Nations Abroad now has an open part-time position as cross-cultural conflict resolution aid.
Besides general consulting tasks, the main responsibility will be handling all foreign teacher issues.
For this position the applicant must: have a good insight into the Chinese culture as well as the needs of the Expat community, be a native or near native English speaker, have very basic Chinese skills, be more than 30 years old and people skills are an ABSOLUTE MUST! The job will be Tuesday-Saturday, 20 hours a week. Specific time schedule is flexible.
This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your public relations skills and conflict resolution skills.

New Visa Regulations
As most of you probably know the Chinese government has started to reinforce new Visa regulations as of July 1st 2013. The new regulations are aimed to address the illegal stay and illegal employment of foreigners here in China. Please, read this carefully for your personal information as it pertains to your Visa.
Summer Palace Picnic Event!
Since we had such a nice time at our last KTV event, we would like to repeat the success by throwing another one of NAC’s fun events!
We therefore invite all of our teachers to a picnic day in the beautiful surroundings of the Summer Palace. Feel free to bring blankets, sports equipment (soccer ball, American football, frees bee etc) and prepare yourself for a ton of fun!NAC will provide sandwiches for the event but we would also like to encourage you to bring a dish to share that will make the NAC buffet a little more international 😉
If you, however, are unable to bring something from home to share with the group, please, do not let that stop you from attending. We’ll gladly see everyone with us as this will also be a nice farewell to the Anderson family.The event will take place on Monday August 19th at 10 AM. The meeting location will be announced later.Please, RSVP as soon as possible @ the latest by 12th of August.
